SIREN System program overview and benefits

The Safety Inspection Report Email Notification System provides automatic email notifications to area fire officials when a business in their coverage area is 30 days past due on an area of service or a service provider reports a safety issue.  Service providers can upload before and after photos, service/inspection checklists and comments about each job.

"The total cost of fire in the United States is a combination of the losses caused by fire and the money spent to prevent worse losses, by preventing fires, containing them, detecting them quickly, and suppressing them effectively.  For 2004, that total cost is estimated at $231-278 billion..."

John R. Hall, Jr., December 2006
